Okay guys, steady on a second because you're about to hear about a guy who - let's face it... it's pretty safe to say - is a complete and utter idiot, or is so absurdly rich that he doesn't give a fuck about losing a half a million points.
Yesterday this bookie paid out on a £400,000 bet on Altior at odds of 1-4 in the Arkle Novices' Chase, meaning the punter won himself £100,000 and giving him a grand total of £500,000
Today then had a £500,000 bet from the same punter on Douvan in the Queen Mother Champion Chase; the horse was also an odds-on favourite at 2-7 with most bookmakers.
But, sadly for the gambler, the favourite didn't come home the winner today.
Meaning that one bookie is £500,000 richer.

And one guy must be feeling pretty embarrassed right now.
Quite the opposite of this guy....

A man was filmed last month while putting a towering stack of chips (worth $100,000) onto number 32; he can then be seen casually sipping his wine as the camera scans the crowd. Just moments later the croupier is heard announcing the box number: 32.
And the lucky bastard wins $3.5 million.

The man can then be seen celebrating with his pals - I bet he found himself a whole bunch of 'new friends' that evening, too.
He didn't even need the money, because he is reported by the Daily Mail to be Pedro Grendene Bartelle, a Brazilian businessman and the nephew of billionaire Alexandre Grendene Bartelle, who co-founded Grendene, the world's largest manufacturer of sandals.
Grendene, which produces Havaianas flip flops, has resulted in Alexandre amassing a net worth of $2.1 billion. So I doubt he'll be expecting a few quid from his nephew.
And it's not just his family's wealth he can enjoy - Pedro is a successful businessman in his own right. He is currently the president of Vulcabras-Azaleia, which is the third largest footwear company in Latin America, behind a company called Brazilians Alpargatas and, of course, his uncle's.
