It comes as no surprise to anyone who follows the UFC that Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov don't like each other; it wouldn't be unfair to say they even hate one another.
But the post-fight fight that broke out following the Russian's fourth round stoppage of the Irishman was a sight to behold.
Khabib had just submitted his fiercest rival and retained his UFC Lightweight title, and it should have ended there, surely.

But rather than retire to his corner, the proud Dagestani turned his attention to McGregor's team, leaping over the fence and jumping on Dillon Danis, the Irishman's training partner and Bellator fighter.
Three of Khabib's entourage then entered the octagon and attacked the defeated McGregor, who was still reeling after having been released from one of Khabib's trademark choke holds.
The match swayed between the two men, but it always seemed as though Khabib held the advantage, wobbling McGregor and even threatening to break his left arm at one stage - telling him to 'just quit'.

He became increasingly angry throughout the bout, especially when the Irishman threw his knee at the head of Nurmagomedov, while on the ground.
An incensed Khabib was heard saying to the referee: "Three times he do it. Three times... You say to him 'two times' and he still [does it]."
Commentator and UFC fighter Dominick Cruz, called the move 'illegal' but referee Herb Dean didn't punish McGregor for it.
The Dubliner even managed to take the third round on the judges' scorecards, the first time Khabib had lost a round in his UFC career.

But he couldn't hold on much longer and in the fourth round Khabib took the match but also lost the plot completely.
The mass brawl that ensued has been seen around the world, with three men being arrested, two fighters being told they will never fight in the UFC again, and Khabib potentially being stripped of his title. It was an eventful night to say the least.
And in a bizarre move, former UFC champion turned pundit Mike Bisping said Khabib should claim 'temporary insanity', if taken to court.

The Mancunian told his co-commentators on Fox News: "I have never seen anyone make such a big mistake in my entire life. Khabib went out there and performed beautifully, it was a fantastic fight, he did everything perfect and finished Conor in the fourth round. That was it, it was done, it was revenge, it was all he had to do.
"He had dignity and class all week and then ruined it. "He absolutely destroyed his reputation, possibly his lightweight title, he's probably going to face criminal charges, a suspension by the commission might have his visa revoked. This is ridiculous."
