In the build-up to the August fight, there appeared to be little respect or appreciation between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. Both, as you'd expect, did more than their fair share of verbal sparring before Mayweather defeated McGregor in round 10 in Las Vegas.

However, after the fight, the pair seemed to show a great deal more warmth toward each other - and in a recent social media post, Floyd Mayweather has given another indication that the frosty mood between them has thawed.

The American boxer, nicknamed 'Money', has certainly splashed the cash by commissioning and displaying two large pictures in his mansion - one of himself, one of Conor McGregor.

In a post on his Twitter account, he wrote: "Exclusive timeless artwork in my Beverly Hills home."

The designs have won a lot of McGregor fans over, with one writing: "This is what a lot of people don't understand, ALL great champions respect their opponents, cause without them, they wouldn't be great. Class."

This is far from the first time Mayweather has shown off his home to fans on social media - only recently, he posted a video of his lavish mansion to Instagram:

It's likely that the paintings were funded by Mayweather's big pay cheque, estimated at over $100 million (£74m), from the fight. Either that, or he somehow managed to piece together the cash following his big win at the casino, just one week after beating McGregor.

Yes, proving that winning is a habit that sticks, Mayweather won $100,000 (£74k) on a slot machine - and again he was keen to share his good fortune via social media:

An Instagram video shows him with all his cash on the table, as his lounges on a sofa with sunglasses and one of his infamously flamboyant tracksuits.

With Mayweather's usual cockiness to the fore, the video also features a pair of shamrocks which could be a reference to Ireland, the home of Conor McGregor.

Mayweather has certainly proven that there's a good reason for his 'Money' moniker.

The estimated $100m from the fight could increase his wealth closer to $350m (£259m) once ticket sales, pay-per-view income and other royalties are included.
