FIFA 19 is arriving later this month, but most fans will be paying close attention to the footballers that will be part of the coveted five-star skillers in the game.
Well, it looks like you won't have to wait long to find out everyone on that list. Reddit user Koondaleeni has posted a leaked list of five-star players in FIFA 19, which has been compiled from the game's beta and Gamescom event last month.
Remember that it's not an official reveal, but here are the names currently on the list:
- Marcelo (Real Madrid)
- Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona)
- Kylian Mbappé (PSG)
- Zlatan Ibrahimović (L.A. Galaxy)
- Memphis Depay (Lyon)
- Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
- Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)
- Federico Bernardeschi (Juventus)
- Jesús Manuel Corona (Porto)
- Ronald Acuña Jr (Sporting CP)
- Elia (Istanbul)
- Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid)
- Martin Ødegaard (Vitesse)
- David Neres (Ajax)
- Xherdan Shaqiri (Liverpool)
Just looking at the list shows some nice new additions, which includes the likes of Zaha, Mbappé, Coutinho and Ibrahimović.
You'll also spot Marcelo as someone who would be the odd one out on the list. In fact, the Brazilian left-back had four stars in FIFA 18, but that upgrade could make him the only defender to be a five-star skiller in FIFA 19.
Just imagine all the Ultimate Team coins Marcelo would be worth if this turns out to be true?
For reference, here are the players with five-star skill moves in FIFA 18 (via EA Sports):
- Cristiano Ronaldo
- Neymar
- Ricardo Quaresma
- Ángel Di María
- Paul Pogba
- Thiago
- Franck Ribéry
- Nani
- Riyad Mahrez
- Aiden McGeady
- Hatem Ben Arfa

- Mohamed Elyounoussi
- Alexandru Maxim
- Jordan Botaka
- Vitinho
- Edison Flores
- Ricardo Kishna
- Benson Manuel
- Matheus Pereira
- Thabo Rakhale
- Gelson Martins
As you can probably tell, the likes of Ronaldo and Neymar are missing off the FIFA 19 list, but we're not far off from seeing the complete picture.
