They are saying the same thing.

Fans are all making the same point about Conor McGregor’s sparring footage ahead of UFC 300.

The mystery around UFC 300’s long-awaited main event remains at an all-time high just two months ahead of the showpiece event.

While Dana White confirmed the fight is still a work in progress, there has been speculation that McGregor could be making a high-profile return to UFC 300. The Irishman is said to be healthy, while Michael Chandler is already waiting in the wings to fight him.

White had previously stated that McGregor’s comeback fight would be postponed to Autumn, but that hasn’t halted rumours that the 35-year-old could make his return at UFC 300.

Indeed, McGregor teased a UFC 300 fight announcement while at Super Bowl LVIII, sharing a video of White speaking about the event in an Instagram story and offering up a wink emoji.

Fans on social media are concerned about the prospect of McGregor making his return for UFC 300 however, after sparring footage was released of the fighter.

One person wrote: “Looks a lot more upright, narrow stance than he used to look. A lot stiffer too.”

Another person said: “I thought the same. He was very heavy. Not what I thought i’d see from Conor. But that’s a lot more weight to carry.”

A third person added: “As sharp as a plastic knife.”

On UFC 300’s main event, White said: “We’re working on that right now. Obviously, people are dying to find out. It’s been an interesting time trying to make the main event for this thing. We’re still working on it.”

When asked how many fights are left to book for UFC 300, White responded: “Co-main event and another one. I’d announce it now if I had it. We’ve gone through a lot of crazy shit trying to put this fight together. It’s been interesting. No date.”
