Michael Chandler cuts an unbelievable promo on Conor McGregor on Monday Night Raw in crossover first

UFC star Michael Chandler appeared on WWE Monday Night Raw, calling out Conor McGregor.

UFC star Michael Chandler called out Conor McGregor live on WWE Monday Night Raw in a crossover first between the two giant promotions.

With just weeks to go to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, Chandler was in attendance at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California for the flagship show.

The lightweight fighter was introduced by WWE announcer Samantha Irvin and immediately grabbed the microphone to address the crowd.

Chandler's appearance followed the news that the TKO group which houses both UFC and WWE has signed a five-year event deal with the Honda Center, who hosted UFC 298 at the weekend.

But the former Bellator champion then proceeded to cut a killer, passionate promo, demanding that McGregor finally meet him inside the Octagon after a long wait.

"You are in the presence of the most entertaining UFC fighter on the planet,” Chandler said.

“Now there’s a man in Ireland that’s been making me wait for way too long and there’s one dude on my mind...Conor McGregor, get your candy ass back in the octagon.”

The fans in attendance absolutely lapped it up and Chandler finished with his "see you at the top!" catchphrase.

Chandler also met with Triple H before the show and shared the clip of his call-out, with the caption: "Get your candy ass back to the Octagon boy!" and tagging his slated opponent.

McGregor has not fought since his defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021, when he broke his leg.

But he was a coach on an intense series of Ultimate Fighter and went up against Chandler in what would seemingly set up a bout between the pair.

McGregor announced his comeback on New Year's Eve and even provided a prediction for what he claimed would be a June 29 return.

Yet Dana White recently admitted that a shin injury, acting commitments and the fact he does not need money, is delaying the return of UFC's biggest superstar.
