What George St-Pierre did when he bumped into his high school bully years later, homeless and begging him for money

The UFC legend showed his class.

UFC legend Georges St-Pierre had an incredible reaction to meeting his childhood bully years later, begging him for money.

St-Pierre reigned over the UFC welterweight division during his prime before calling time on his legendary career in February 2019.

But before he became one of the best MMA fighters in history, he was bullied when he was younger.

Speaking to Hot 97 in 2017, the ex-UFC welterweight and middleweight champion revealed how he crossed paths with his bully on the streets.

But the man who had tormented the Canadian didn't enjoy the same success as the UFC icon as he was begging for money from passers-by.

"I don't know if he was homeless, but he was asking for money," he said.

"When he saw me, he recognised me."

He asked for help to which St-Pierre replied: "Man, what are you doing here?

"You're a tall guy, you're good looking. What the hell?"

'GSP' parted with some money to his high school nemesis and gave him an inspirational speech.

He explained: "I gave him a few dollars and I [told] him: 'Get out of here... you should be ashamed, you should be embarrassed of what you're doing, man. A lot of guys would kill to be like you. You know you're full of potential. You're good looking, healthy, tall and strong. Go do something with your life.'"

The bully would later visit St-Pierre's childhood home and spoke to his father, who said that his son had moved out.

But the former fighter would learn from his family that the man had turned his life around and wanted to thank him for his help.

He said: "He went to my house where my parents live.

"He knocked on the door and he said: 'Can I talk to Georges?'

"He goes, 'Well, I met him a few months ago, and [he] said something to me to shake me up and I just want to say that he changed my life. Now I have a job and I'm doing well, and I want to say thank you. When you see him, tell him I said thank you.'"
