WATCH: Porto's Danilo Sent Off After Referee Treads On Him

A couple of days ago, Mike Dean was center stage - yet again - as he officiated West Ham vs. Manchester United. But if you thought that was bad, check out this referee from the Premeira Liga in Portugal.

Porto traveled to Moreirense hoping to chase down league leaders Benfica. But the former Champions League winners lost their unbeaten league record while falling four points behind Benfica following their 1-nil defeat.

Though the main takeaway from the game - just like West Ham vs. United - was the referee. Introducing the Portuguese Mike Dean; Luis Godinho.

With just over 10-minutes left of the game, Godinho gave Danilo his marching orders after receiving his second yellow card but in comical fashion.

The ref was backtracking and bumped into the big midfielder, appearing to tread on him. And he had no hesitation to send Danilo off.

Needless to say, the Porto players and the player himself weren't happy, prompting a very angry reaction from Danilo. Check out the footage below:
