Marouane Fellaini's new haircut shocked us all as the Manchester United midfielder got rid of his famous 'fro. But a closer look at his social media proves that he doesn't know when his birthday is, or perhaps everyone else is getting it wrong.
If someone says the name Marouane Fellaini most people would think instantly of his massive hair. Sure one or two might think about his skills as a footballer but it's probably safer not to.
However today the Belgian took to social media and surprised everyone to reveal that he'd been to the barbers to get rather a lot of hair lobbed off, ending up froless.
It's pretty weird finding out that there is an actual head below all that air, with a normal hairline and stuff, never thought we'd see Fellaini like this.

The former Everton player got the new style for his birthday. His post on Instagram was alongside the caption, "New year, new look #birthdaytomorrow," with the Belgian about to turn 31.
However it seems that his birthday isn't tomorrow. According to Wikipedia it's a week tomorrow, rather than tomorrow. Wikipedia might not always be the most correct but United posted on the 22nd last year to wish him Happy Birthday:
Honestly this one's a bit of a heads cratcher, which is easier to do once you've got rid of a mountain of hair, but why the hashtag Marouane?

Even if the Belgian was choosing to celebrate his birthday, whilst it is the international break and he's not part of the current squad, it still seems odd to hashtag 'birthday tomorrow.'
Surely if anyone knew when his birthday was it would be the man himself? Are we wrong or is he?
Considering the way the former Everton man sometimes plays, okay often plays, is it really a surprise that he'd make such a wonderfully fundamental error?

Happy Birthday Fellaini, whenever the hell it is.
