Zinedine Zidane is the shadow following Jose Mourinho around right now. The out of work manager is the name being linked to Manchester United and he already has a list of names he'd like to sign.
Whether or not Jose Mourinho's third season meltdown is on its way, or how much of it is actually his fault if it is, there's no doubt that the Manchester United manager is coming under increasing pressure.
The former Chelsea boss may have extended his deal at Old Trafford by another year earlier in 2018 but the lack of transfers this summer, the results on the pitch and murmurs behind the scene of unrest all make it look like this will be his last season in Manchester.
Mourinho is now the favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked, despite Manuel Pellegrini's torrid start to life back in England with West Ham, and the pressure is really on with news that Zinedine Zidane would like the job.

The Frenchman is out of work after quitting Real Madrid following two and half seasons in charge that saw him win the Champions League three times, decent record.
According to the Mirror he's so prepared for getting the United job that he's put together a transfer wish list already. The paper claim Toni Kroos, Thiago Alcantara, James Rodriguez and Edinson Cavani top the list.
It's an interesting group of targets, especially as most people would argue none of them is exactly what the club needs right now, even if they are all class players.

All four of Zidane's reported top targets have been linked with the club before. David Moyes tried to sign both Kroos and Thiago, Rodriguez was linked with a move before he joined Bayern Munich and Cavani was wanted by Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho knows that any real dip in form could lead to his sacking, whilst United won't want to miss out on Zidane deciding to return and joining another club.
It's interesting as well that the potential new manager has such an illustrious list of names on his wanted list when the current manager couldn't get the centre back he so eagerly desired.

Mourinho certainly isn't being helped and whispers of Zidane will continue to grow if things don't improve.
