It's been reported that Robert Lewandowski has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid and it appears as though the Poland international has started to make movements to try and push through a move to Los Blancos.

Stories revolving around the striker's future have gathered pace in recent times, and now the latest is from German outlet BILD, who say that Lewandowski has started learning Spanish as he tries to push through his desired move to the 12-time European champions.

The former Dortmund man has also been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, but it's thought that he only longs for playing at Madrid, who he produced one of his greatest performances against in a 4-1 Champions League win at Signal Iduna Park, where he scored all four goals, in 2013.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague recently reported that despite banging in the goals in Germany and winning three Bundesliga titles on the trot, he wants to play for Real.

Writing in AS, Balague says that the Poland skipper will attempt to engineer a move to Zinedine Zidane's double winners next summer, after recently complaining about the lack of competition in the Bayern squad and bemoaning the lack of new signings made by the German champions.

Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has claimed that Lewandowski's agents are behind his recent comments, yet Balague also says that the29-year old's representatives are only expressing the wishes of their client, who is said to be "obsessed" with the idea of playing for Real.

In an interview with Bild, Rummenigge played down Lewandowski's chances of leaving the Allianz Arena for the Spanish capital in the near future - with the player himself also refuting the claims.

"I'm sorry about what he said. It's not the first time that he has spoken badly of our club and I know that his agent [Maik] Barthel is behind those declarations. I don't think though, that a player would have that amount of power. Lewandowski's contract is up in 2021 and unfortunately for him he doesn't have a release clause."

Since signing for a free from Dortmund in 2014, Lewandowski has netted a sensational 121 games in 156 games for Bayern and is widely recognised as one of the greatest strikers in world football.
