Despite only making five Premier League appearances since June 2015, it looks like one of Liverpool's biggest talents has an admirer.

But it's not just any admirer - Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly a huge fan of England U21 international Joe Gomez.

Gomez signed for Liverpool on a five-year deal back in 2015 for a fee of around £3.5 million, but according to Spanish publication DiarioGol, Zidane could raid the Premier League club for his signature in the summer.

According to the report, Zidane wants replacements for Pepe, who is set to join the Chinese Super League in the coming months to earn £248,000-a-week.

Gomez may have been out of action for 15 months because of injury, but it seems Zidane has seen potential in the 19-year-old, who was previously with Charlton Athletic before moving to Anfield.

Gomez began to make an impact for Liverpool during the 2015/16 season, making four appearances in August alone, but has struggled to make the first team since.

Despite it being a bizarre rumour, Gomez has undeniable talent.

Can you see this transfer happening? Has Gomez got the potential to play for Los Blancos?
