Manchester United and Chelsea have joined Manchester City in targeting one of the stars of this season's Premier League outside of the top six and the battle could heat up for a summer transfer.
The Premier League these days is usually split into the top six and then everyone else, but at least this season there does seem to be a very obvious mid table unlike last season when that seemed to be about two teams.
As the rich have got richer, and stronger, the gap between those at the top and those who battle for the final spot in Europe has only got bigger.
Sure it's not that long ago that Leicester City somehow broke through and won the Premier League but that already seems like a long time ago and had a very specific set of circumstances that allowed them in.

Manchester United's early season struggles left them miles behind the rest of the top six but their recent resurgence has put them straight back into contention and nine points clear of Watford in seventh.
So when one of the top six comes for a player playing outside of it there's usually only one outcome and now three clubs are after one player.
According to the Mirror Manchester United and Chelsea have joined Manchester City in pursuit of Crystal Palace right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka with the south London side expecting summer bids.
Wan-Bissaka made his debut for Roy Hodgson last February and the 21 year old has been one of the league's top performers outside the big clubs this season.

The Londoner is a favourite of Fantasy Football managers and has clearly attracted the interest of some of the biggest managers in England too.
City have been watching the player closely since November but they have now been joined by rivals United and Chelsea in the hunt.
Pep Guardiola's side can call on Danillo for cover for Kyle Walker whilst Chelsea have Davide Zappacosta to cover Cesar Azpilicueta.

United probably have the most need for a right back with Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian likely to leave Old Trafford in the summer, leaving only 19 year old Diogo Dalot and 33 year old Ashley Young.
Who will sign the 21 year old Crystal Palace full back?
