The Chinese Super League is constantly the elephant in the Premier League room, much like the Premier League is for the rest of Europe, and now Tianjin Quanjian are coming for one of the biggest stars.
Throughout Europe the leagues, teams and managers who compete there bemoan the fact that when a Premier League club wants a player there's not much they can do to compete when it comes to money.

England's top division is just a different beast when it comes to finances, selling its TV rights abroad for billions of pounds, an ever increasing amount of money.
However in the Far East the Chinese Super League has emerged as the Premier League's very own Premier League, able to offer vast riches even most clubs in England couldn't imagine.
Over the last few transfer windows they've been picking up talent from the Premier League, Europe and South America and when their transfer window reopens in June that won't be changing.
According to the Mail Tianjin Quanjian are working on a huge deal to bring Diego Costa to the CSL when their 'window' opens on June 8th.

The team managed by former World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro unsettled the Chelsea striker back in January when they tried to sign him from Antonio Conte's side.
It led to Costa demanding a move and sitting out of one game as the CSL club were willing to offer a ridiculous £620k-a-week deal for his services.

Billionaire owner of the club Shu Yuhui told Sina Sports, "I can only say that we are still working on the deal [to sign Costa]. And we have already made contacts with several players.
"We have high standards [in buying foreign players] and those players prefer top clubs such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. It's safe to say that we have the same transfer targets as those illustrious clubs."
Will Costa leave for China?
