Harry Maguire is a wanted man at Manchester United and it's partially because of legendary United boss Sir Alex Ferguson that he finds himself in this position, thanks to a friendly phone call when Maguire was in hospital.
Manchester United really want to beat rivals Manchester City to the signing of Harry Maguire and have already had a £70 million move for the defender rejected.
Whether Maguire ends up moving to Old Trafford or not is still in question but thanks to Sir Alex Ferguson it's where he wants to end up. Writing for Unibet, Andy Mitten explained how the 13 time Premier League winning manager had an affect on the Leicester man.

Back in 2011 the 26-year-old was playing in the Youth Cup final at Old Trafford. The then Sheffield United player was knocked out during the match and had to spend the night in hospital.
A few days later Ferguson called Maguire and told him 'if he kept his head down and worked hard then he would play at the top level.'
As well as handing a confidence boost to the former Blades' defender, with Maguire considering it a turning point in his career, it also fueled a desire to one day play for the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho wanted to sign Maguire last summer, after the Leicester City player's excellent displays for England at the World Cup, but the Foxes didn't want to sell.
Once again the fallen former champions want to sign a centre back and once again the former Hull City defender is high on their list of preferences.
Leicester still don't want to sell but could be tempted for a big price. The club consider him to be worth at least the £75 million Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk 18 months ago but are holding out for more.

United bid £70 million initially but it was rejected. It's yet to be seen if they'll come in again for the England international.
Solskjaer's side have been linked with other options whilst rivals City are also linked with Maguire so could outbid them if they want.
Will Maguire fulfil his dream and move to Old Trafford?
