Real Madrid are ready to add several players in exchange for Paul Pogba in any deal to sign the Manchester United midfielder and Gareth Bale will be chief amongst those they try to offload.

This summer is expected to be a big one for Real Madrid and Florentino Perez's wallet as the club president and Zinedine Zidane attempt to try and turn fortunes around with the 13 time European champions.

After selling Cristiano Ronaldo last summer Los Blancos didn't splash the cash and they ended the season third in La Liga and out of the Champions League in the last 16, after losing to Ajax.

That led to Zidane returning to manage the team, less than a year after leaving, and that no doubt came with reassurances over this summer's transfers.

Real are expected to wrap up a big deal for Eden Hazard at some point in the near future and they've also been reported to want either Paul Pogba or Christian Eriksen.

Either of those midfielders would cost big money but according to The Times they are hoping to add players into a deal for Pogba.

The reports says that they'd definitely try and include Gareth Bale in any deal but they could also include Keylor Navas, James Rodriguez and Theo Hernandez.

Bale's issues with Zidane are well documented but selling the Welshman would be difficult because of his cost and high wages so adding him to a swap would be the perfect outcome for the Spanish side.

It's not the first time Navas has been linked with Old Trafford and he would have been part of the deal that took David de Gea to the Bernabeu before the infamous fax machine stopped the deal.

Rodriguez has been on loan with Bayern Munich for the past two years but it's not expected to become a permanent deal and he'd be available for transfer.

Full back Hernandez played on loan at Real Sociedad last season and is another who is unwanted by Zidane for next season. The paper also says Isco could be used but the manager would prefer that the Spaniard stays.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously ruled out Pogba leaving Old Trafford this summer but the Frenchman might want to move in order to chase silverware.

The Premier League side, who finished sixth last season, are in serious need of reinforcements throughout the team and already need a central midfielder, even before any potential departure of Pogba.

Who should United take in exchange for their midfielder?
