Zinedine Zidane's rebuilding at Real Madrid could start with a record smashing move for PSG's Kylian Mbappe with a report the Spanish giants will bid €280 million for the forward in the summer.
Real Madrid might have won the Champions League for three years in a row but the team is now in drastic need of a rebuild that has seen them move on to their third manager of the season, a return for Zinedine Zidane.
The season has fallen apart for Los Blancos with a challenge for the La Liga title never starting and now well and truly finished and being knocked out of the Copa del Rey and Champions League in a week earlier this month.
Zidane's return after that comes with reports that he will be given more power in regards to who the club will sign and likely a lot of money to refresh the squad.
Centre back Eder Militao has already been confirmed by the club but it's the forward line that is likely to see the biggest investment.
Eden Hazard, Neymar and Mauro Icardi have all been linked but according to France Forward the 13 times European Champions are ready to offer €280 million for Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
A bid of that magnitude would make Mbappe easily the most expensive player of all time and overtake current PSG teammate Neymar.
The Brazilian moved to France from Real's rivals Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a world record €220 million and was then joined by Mbappe, initially on loan, in the same summer from Monaco.
At the time the former Santos forward moved to get out of Lionel Messi's shadow but he has found himself overshadowed by his younger teammate in the French capital anyway.

The 20 year old striker really came to prominence during Monaco's title win in the 2016/17 Ligue 1 season, with the principality club also making it to the Champions League semi finals.
So far this season the Parisian has 26 goals to his name in the league with the French champions once again miles ahead of the rest of the league and certain to win another title.
Real have been screaming out for a new forward since selling Cristiano Ronaldo last summer and only signing Mariano Diaz to replace him.
Will Real sign Mbappe in the summer?
