It's promising to be the transfer saga that will drag it's arse all the way through the summer, and the future of Kylian Mbappe is about to take another twist, with Real Madrid readying a third bid for the free scoring Monaco starlet.

The newly crowned French champions are facing an exodus this summer, one which began with the sale of Bernardo Silva to Manchester City, last week. The likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy, Thomas Lemar and Fabinho have all been strongly linked with moves away from the Stade Louis II stadium, but it is 18-year-old Mbappe who is courting the most interest.

Arsenal were reported to have launched a £90 million bid for the young French international, last week and pictures have emerged today of Arsene Wenger and Gunners' chief executive Ivan Gazidis in Nice, just a few miles outside of Monaco, intensifying many fans beliefs that a deal to bring Mbappe to North London may be imminent.

However, the Gunners' plans for Mbappe may have to take a back seat to Real's, with RMC in France reporting that the Champions League winners are readying a third bid for the teen sensation worth an incredible 135 million euros.

RMC is also reporting, however, that Mbappe would actually prefer to remain with Monaco and continue to develop there, rather than move to a new country at such a young age to a team where he may not be an immediate first team starter every week like he currently is with the Ligue Un champions.

A new contract is set to be offered to Mbappe by Monaco, who want to tie him down to until at least 2020. However, it may be difficult for the French champions to resist Real's overtures for much longer.

According to Get Football News France, a source close to Monaco confirmed the 18-year-old's intentions to remain with the Monte Carlo club for the time being.

"For the moment the player wants to stay at AS Monaco. The club and Mbappé want to continue the adventure. Discussions will be had when the player returns from international duty about the club's project with his family. The player has his head on his shoulders and the family is very calm. But it is certain that this will be a saga because three very big European clubs have made offers to the club."

Expect this one to rumble on for a good while, yet.
