Real Madrid Confident They'll Sign Paul Pogba And Eden Hazard

The Manchester United midfielder and Chelsea forward are the top targets for Zinedine Zidane this summer as he starts his rebuild.

Real Madrid could make the two biggest transfers of the summer with the club reportedly confident of signing both Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard from the Premier League.

This summer could have been one of the biggest when it comes to transfers. It's likely that three of the biggest teams in the world will have major rebuilds with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in need of a good few signings.

No one else is going to want to see their rivals get ahead or back on level terms either so no one is going to let them just go out and sign who they want without trying to sign their own targets.

There's no way Real would have been able to get Zinedine Zidane back in charge of the club without the promise of some big signings and after failing to replace Cristiano Ronaldo last summer they may go biggest of all the clubs in need.

And Sky Sports report that the club are confident of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United and Eden Hazard from Chelsea, with the Times backing up the claim that the pair are Los Blancos top two transfer targets for the summer.

The Times also say that Pogba, who was a surprise addition to the PFA Team of the Year on Thursday, wants to talk to Real about a move after the recent decline in United's form.

Hazard has long been a target for the 13 time European champions and he has often spoken about his desire to play for them and to play for Zidane, who quit last summer only to take charge again last month.

The Blues' forward's contract ends next summer but the Premier League side could still ask for around £100 million for their best player.

Pogba is likely to cost even more, especially with United likely to want to keep a player who at his best is one of the best midfielders around.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team could be set for a huge overhaul in the summer with Antonio Valencia, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera all set to leave with their contracts expiring. Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo are also likely to depart whilst rumours about Pogba and David de Gea joining them out the door persist.

The Red Devils are in need of a right back, centre back, two central midfielders and a forward to start competing at the top again.

Signing Pogba and Hazard in one window would certainly be a sign of intent from Real and start to resemble the summer of 2009 when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Karim Benzema.
