Paris Saint Germain won Ligue 1 four years in a row. Based on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's latest activity they look likely to start their title challenge next season with the signing of the Gabonese striker.

PSG had been running roughshod over the French league for the past four seasons and it genuinely looked like that could never end.

However with Zlatan Ibrahimovic no longer at their disposal and Monaco having an incredible season both domestically and in Europe the title became out of reach for Unai Emery's team.

Emery is set to stay on next season despite the disappointment and the former Sevilla manager is determined to bolster his attacking options.

Alexis Sanchez was thought to be the club's number one target but news from Germany stated that Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had told his club he wants to leave.

That, it's thought, will mean a move to the French capital with talks already underway and according to Goal the player is believed to have bought a new house in the Parisian suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine.

The would be buying club have already reportedly made a firm offer to the Bundesliga side who lost their manager today when Thomas Tuchel decided to leave.

And Gabonese striker Aubameyang has also begun talks with Paris although neither of the two negotiations are known to have been done yet.

The 27-year-old forward has been one of Europe's best strikers in the last few years and finished with 31 goals in 31 starts in the league and seven in eight in Europe this term.

Former Director of Football at the Parc de Paris Patrick Kluivert is thought to have started negotiations for the player but they will be completed by incoming man Antero Henrique.

The former Porto DOF is expected to make the move to France at the weekend and his first dealings are likely to be finishing off the deal for the former AC Milan forward.

Aubameyang has already stated that it was his dream to move to Real Madrid but it looks like his next club will be PSG!
