Could Neymar really move back to La Liga in the summer, just one year after leaving Barcelona? Well he's apparently promised his former teammate it won't be to move to Real Madrid, under one condition.
It's not even been a year since Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG, smashing the world record fee for a footballer by making the move for £198 million, the price of his transfer release clause.
The Brazilian's season is already over because of an injury and PSG's season is pretty much over because they're out of the Champions League and there's about as much chance of me getting a date with Eugenie Bouchard as there is them not winning Ligue 1 this season.

Despite Neymar performing well in the league this season no one is really that impressed as he was pretty much expected to blow away the defences in Ligue 1.
Amidst everything are the rumours that PSG are really just a stepping stone to Real Madrid and there's even been recent rumours linking him with a move back to Barcelona.

According to Mundo Deportivo the 26 year old promised Lionel Messi that he wouldn't move to the Bernabeu as long as the chance to return to the Camp Nou is still alive.
Neymar does have a desire to move back to La Liga according to the report and would like to do so this summer but it's clear that a return to Ernesto Valverde's side is his preferred option.
Barca though have spent big to replace him. Both Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho have been signed in the last two transfer windows and Antoine Griezmann has been heavily linked with a move from Atletico Madrid this summer.

Should the Frenchman move then Neymar surely wouldn't have any option to return.
All that means that a move to Los Blancos could be open with Zinedine Zidane likely to freshen up his side's attacking options this summer after misfiring this season.
Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale could be replaced with Robert Lewandowski, Eden Hazard and Neymar all heavily linked.
