When negotiating his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona, it appears Neymar demanded the club sign a player as he agreed terms.

The 25-year-old joined the French outfit signing a world record £197 million deal. And they continued their summer splurge with the signing of teenage phenom Kylian Mbappe.

Despite snapping up the attacking pair, PSG will table an offer for Alexis Sanchez in the summer as a result of Neymar placing the Arsenal star on his wishlist as he discussed his deal in the summer, per French outlet Le Parisien.

Neymar and Sanchez enjoyed one year at the Camp Nou before he completed his switch to Arsenal in 2014.

Sanchez, 28, will be a free agent in the summer when his Arsenal contract expires. Arsene Wenger is resigned to losing his services with the club failing to tie him down to a new contract.

As well as PSG, Manchester City remain heavily linked with Sanchez. Pep Guardiola is hellbent on reuniting with him at the Etihad after submitting a bid on transfer deadline day.

However, the £60 million offer was rejected. But Guardiola is reportedly set to re-ignite his interest in January once the transfer window reopens.

PSG and Manchester City will go head-to-head, with Arsenal hoping to sell him abroad rather than to a direct Premier League rival.

The report also suggests PSG could balance the books by offloading Edinson Cavani who has been subject to speculation following his penalty drama with Neymar.

The striker, who turns 31 next February, has already attracted interest from the Premier League with Everton monitoring his situation, though the Uruguayan is believed to be keen on re-signing with former side Napoli.

Expect Cavani and Sanchez to dominate the transfer rumour mills.
