Rio Ferdinand believes now is the time for Theo Walcott to end his Arsenal career.
The BT Sport pundit was asked about recent talk linking the Gunners forward with a move to Everton while previewing Tottenham against the Toffees in the Premier League's evening game, last night.
Walcott still has 18 months remaining on his contract at the club, but he's been told that he won't get guaranteed football is he stays that out.

So Everton look in prime place to give him first team football - and that's a move Ferdinand certainly endorses.

Walcott has started just nine games this season, none of which have came in the Premier League, so you can understand his ambition to play more football.

At 28, he's spent the majority of his career in north London, but has never really been a first team player and maybe now is the time for him to go and become that.
No matter what, he's a great goalscorer who will surely benefit whoever has him - as his 108 goals in 395 appearances for Arsenal proves.
