With Barcelona shelling out a shitload of cash to recruit new players, a rumour emerged suggesting Real Madrid want Mohamed Salah in response to their rivals snapping up Philippe Coutinho.
Losing Coutinho in the middle of the season is a huge blow for Liverpool and it would utterly disastrous if the club sold Salah, who's since responded to the reports linking him with a move to the Bernabeu.

After a nightmarish first stint in the Premier League with Chelsea, Salah had a point to prove this season once Liverpool brought him back to England's top flight from AS Roma.
And he's enjoying a ridiculous campaign, weighing in with goals, including 17 in the league, and assists.

His influence on the team has caught the eye of Europe's elite.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane publicly hailed the Egyptian hero: "He is still young, improving all the time. I don't talk much about other players, but he is a player I rate a lot," via FourFourTwo.
Is he plotting a bid in January or in the summer?

Either way, Salah has admitted to reading the reports. Though he's assured his future lies at Liverpool while being 'happy' at Anfield.
"Well, I have heard so many rumours that it doesn't bother me anymore (...) They have treated me very well in Liverpool and at this moment, I belong to Liverpool and I am happy at Anfield," quoted by Spanish outlet Marca.
He also posted on social media reaffirming this stance.
Phew, I guess, if your a Liverpool fan.
