Naby Keita To Become A Liverpool Player On Sunday

If any Liverpool fans were just about to drift off to sleep I've got to apologise because there's some rather exciting news for a Friday night, your team will apparently sign Naby Keita on Sunday!

RB Leipzig midfielder Keita was one of Jurgen Klopp's most wanted men in the summer but the Bundesliga side wouldn't let him go this season, with the two sides agreeing to a deal that would see him go in the summer of 2018.

That had been fine for the Reds but recently their need and desire for the 22 year old has risen because of the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and the subsequent hole in their midfield that needs filling.

Now according to reports the Guinean is set to move to Liverpool as early as Sunday, making his final appearance for Leipzig at home against Schalke on Saturday

Having already spent £75 million on Virgil van Dijk this month it's certainly a big spending month for Jurgen Klopp but he's got plenty of cash to splash after selling Coutinho.

The news will certainly be a boost to the Reds Champions League hopes.
