Liverpool fans were full of excitement at the idea of signing Nabil Fekir when the transfer was first reported last week but the player's dad has now dampened those spirits by denying the transfer.
The season for Liverpool has definitely gone well. They are extremely likely to guarantee Champions League football at the weekend and they still have the final of this season's competition to play, and you'd be an idiot to write them off winning.
Already people are tipping Jurgen Klopp's men to be the main danger for Pep Guardiola's ridiculously dominant Manchester City. With Virgil van Dijk purchased in January and Naby Keita to come in the summer there's already improvement in the squad.
Of course Klopp won't be able to rest on his laurels. City were utterly brilliant this season and will improve and rivals Manchester United will no doubt want another crack at a title they haven't won since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.
