Kylian Mbappe proved once again last night just why he is one of the world's most wanted footballers and why Monaco are lucky to have him. However the French club's sporting director actually gave suitors hope.
If Kylian Mbappe wasn't already a much wanted striker then a third goal in two Champions League games against Borussia Dortmund took him to another level.

Nearly two seasons ago Anthony Martial signed from Monaco to Manchester United for £36 million, potentially turning into £58 million with clauses, that was after nine league goals the season before.
It just shows how much Mbappe could be worth this summer with the club's youngest ever goalscorer having already bagged 12 goals in the league and five in Europe.

Manchester United have been rumoured to have already made a bid for the Frenchman and Real Madrid are also reportedly interested but Monaco will be desperate to keep hold of the teenager.
However, talking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, Monaco's sporting director Antonio Cordon oddly revealed clubs have a chance to sign the 18 year old because of his transfer release clause:
"I hope he stays for the good of Monaco, but we know how the market works and what football is like. He has a clause and it's quite a lot of money. I don't know exactly how much, but it's a lot."

Being "a lot" of money really won't put off the likes of Real and United who will be happy to hear there could be a way to sign Mbappe without Monaco being able to reject a bid.
Cordon revealed that Los Blancos hadn't yet made a bid for the player but admitted they could be in for a very long summer adding:
"The truth is they haven't...Only time will tell. There are many factors to consider in order for a player to succeed. He is still very young. We will see what happens this summer - we expect it to be a long one."
Where do you think Mbappe will end up this summer?
