News that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid this summer refuses to go away and now his team mate Marcelo has come out to have his say on the whole thing.

Cristiano Ronaldo really knows how to steal someone's thunder, he'd definitely have slept with Rachel the day that Chandler and Monica got engaged, and he did it perfectly after the final whistle at the Champions League final.

Most of the talk was about Gareth Bale's incredible bicycle kick and Sergio Ramos' incredible knowledge of the human body helping to destroy Mo Salah's shoulder but Ronaldo, who had a quiet game against Liverpool, also managed to make it partially about himself.

The Portuguese forward talked about how he could leave Real in the summer and further reports have stated that he wants to go and his decision is 'irreversible.'

Of course that's similar to last summer when he wanted to leave Spain and nothing could change his mind.

Once again the feeling is that a new big contract falling at his door would stop him leaving but Marcelo feels that the club shouldn't just bend to the five time Ballon d'Or winners whims saying:

"Cristiano is not the owner of Real Madrid.

"If the president wants to sign someone, the president will sign him. But why can't Neymar come and Cristiano stay?

"The dressing-room all wants Cristiano to stay. And Real Madrid's doors are always open for Neymar. Madrid must always look for the best players. One day Neymar will play for Real Madrid."

There has long been a feeling that Los Blancos will refresh their attacking options this summer and that will likely include signing at least one big name forward.

A move for Neymar is possible, with Florentino Perez being virtually obsessed with him, and if the Brazilian came to the Bernabeu then Ronaldo wouldn't be the main man and that would inevitably not sit well with him.

It's been more likely that Gareth Bale would be the man to make way if BBC were to be replaced but with Zinedine Zidane leaving the Spanish capital the Welshman could stay.

That leaves questions about Karim Benzema and Ronaldo if Perez and the new manager decide that a new front line is necessary.

Will Ronaldo stay? Will Neymar join?
