Manchester United look like a major overhaul is on the cards in the summer, from the top of the club down to the players, and the club are eyeing a move for one of the best youth prospects around.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned things around at Manchester United but even with the upturn in form, in results and performances, since the former striker took over from Jose Mourinho it's obvious that United need to invest in the squad in the summer.

Before his sacking Jose Mourinho was hell bent on signing a central defender for the club whilst a right winger was also chief amongst their targets.

That hasn't changed, even with Solskjaer 'at the wheel,' and the team could potentially also do with another right back and a forward.

There might be a new manager next season, or the interim boss could carry on, and there's likely to also be a director of football at Old Trafford to decide who to sign.

However even without anyone deciding the medium to long term future of the club, outside of Ed Woodward, the side are trailing one of the biggest prospects in world football.

According to Fox Sports the Premier League side sent scouts to Benfica's Europa League game on Thursday against Galatasaray to watch 19 year old João Félix.

The teenager has been described as 'the next Cristiano Ronaldo,' predictably, and the Portuguese side have reportedly placed a £100 million asking price on their wonderkid.

The Mirror report that United and PSG are the two keenest sides in him but Real Madrid , Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested.

Like Ronaldo the midfielder is also represented by super agent Jorge Mendes, who could be in line for his latest massive pay day.

Despite his young age the Benfica player has scored seven goals and provided four assists in just 14 games for his team this season.

It would be a massive outlay for such a young player but with his obvious talent and huge potential means he might well be worth it.

Who do you think United will sign in the summer?
