David de Gea will reportedly sign a new Manchester United contract worth £375,000 per week and become the world's highest-paid goalkeeper.
According to the Mirror, the 28-year-old is expected to sign a new deal when the club return from their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia.
It will make De Gea by far the best paid in the world in his position with Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid a distant second on £220,000 per week.
One of Manchester United's biggest priorities this summer has been getting number one goalkeeper De Gea to sign a new deal after a year of negotiating.

The Spaniard is out of contract next summer and the Red Devils couldn't afford negotiations to go on any longer.
De Gea had argued that he was worth being one of the club's most well paid players and with Alexis Sanchez's £505k-a-week being so well reported the club haven't had much room for negotiation.
The former Atletico Madrid keeper has been the team's Player of the Year award winner in four of the six seasons since Sir Alex Ferguson left and has been integral to their limited success in that period.
The Guardian says that the financial demands of the deal are 'significantly' more than the previously reported £350k-a-week, suggesting that De Gea will be closer to Sanchez's wages.
Much like the Chilean forward, the keeper was not at his best last season but he was still far better and influential for United than the former Arsenal forward.

Once the United number one signs on the dotted line he will become the highest paid goalkeeper ever in the sport.
Speaking ahead of the pre-season friendly against Leeds in Australia, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said, "Hopefully we can agree a new contract with David. That will be up to the club and David to announce."
Next on United's priority list will be further adding to their squad. They have already signed Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire is, according to some reports, close to being next.

United will pay around £80 million for the centre-back, beating local rivals Manchester City to the signing, and are also being linked with a move for Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff.
