Jose Mourinho has already signed Victor Lindelof but could still be in the hunt for another centre-back.

Boy Manchester United's squad is going to be deep next season. Jose Mourinho's team haven't let anyone go yet and they're linked with everyone under the sun, this time it's another centre-back.

Ed Woodward has Jose Mourinho's list of transfer targets according to the Portuguese manager but that list must look like Chris Jericho's original WCW list of 1001 submission holds. (Sorry non wrestling nerds)

This summer United have already signed one player in the form of Victor Lindelof but their spending clearly isn't over and it looks like Alvaro Morata and Nemanja Matic will join the Old Trafford club and Ivan Perisic may also add his name to the list.

However the Mirror put together a ridiculous list of all the players linked with a move to Old Trafford since the season ended:

Fabinho, Malcom, Gabriel Barbosa, Jonathan Tah, Eder Alvarez Balanta, Andrea Belotti, Emanuel Mammana, Harry Kane, Dele Alli, James Rodriguez, Alexandre Lacazette, Marco Reus, Gareth Bale, Hakan Calhanoglu, Radja Nainggolan...I was going to list them all but there's another eight!

And now according to journalist Gerard Romero there's another in the form of Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra. The Red Devils have apparently contacted the German club about the prospect of signing him.

United's first choice centre-back pairing next season is likely to be Lindelof and last season's signing Eric Bailly. However with Marcos Rojo out till part way through the season Mourinho might need more options.

He does have Chris Smalling and Phil Jones but it's thought one of those two players could be sold before the season starts.

That would leave him with youngsters like Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Alex Tuanzebe as the next options, although most United fans might actually prefer that to another signing.

26 year old Bartra was at the Camp Nou under Pep Guardiola but moved to Dortmund for more football and has proved to be a very good defender.

At least United won't have to worry about squad depth once they sign another 24 players!
