Pre season tours are becoming more and more important by the day. We all know that they're helpful for friendlies and making piles of cash due to marketing opportunities but now they help clubs with transfers.
In recent years we've seen pre season tours turned all the way up to 11. It's not just about a quiet little friendly with a local club from where a team is touring.

Nowadays Premier League clubs are more likely to play against each other in Hong Kong as they are to play in Liverpool or London, the 39th game is alive and well.
Meanwhile some teams are busy making even more money playing high profile Champions League style friendlies and smiling for the PR companies at marketing events.

But now we're hearing big news about which players aren't going on tour because it points to who is leaving which club.
So Liverpool fans might be excited to learn that one of their transfer targets is leaving his current side's pre-season tour and that's Hull City's Andrew Robertson.

Robertson has been heavily linked with an £8 million move to Anfield and it's almost certain he'll be moving with this latest news.
Initially Klopp was expected to sell Alberto Moreno before making the move for the Scot but it looks like the incoming transfer will happen first.
The Reds are still trying to bring Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk into the team but a back-up left-back to James Milner is also important.
