Liverpool Fans Think Image Proves Nabil Fekir Will Still Sign

The 'leaked' image reportedly comes from the interview he did before the World Cup winner's move to the Premier League fell through.

Liverpool fans think that a private video on YouTube and a supposed leaked image of Nabil Fekir doing an interview means he may still join the Premier League club in January.

Back in May Liverpool had a crushing loss in the Champions League final to Real Madrid. They may have been the underdogs but the mistakes by Loris Karius still left them deflated after the 3-1 loss.

Within days though the Reds had a bit of a pick me up as they revealed the signing of Monaco midfielder Fabinho and fans were really excited when it looked like Nabil Fekir would join him days later.

The Fekir stuff ran a bit longer though until 'Fekir Friday' came just a couple of days before the Lyon forward would be off to Russia for the World Cup. Fekir was supposed to be having his medical and signing but suddenly the deal was off.

There was talk that the deal got so far that the 25 year old did an interview for the Liverpool YouTube page.

Now an image of the video has been 'leaked' and the fact that a private video shows on the channel has led some to believe it's a sign of transfers to come:

Fekir went on to win the World Cup as part of the France squad and rumours about him moving continued to carry on but there was no more movement.

Of course there is still a chance that Fekir could be signed in January, or even next summer, and when the deal did fall apart the Lyon player's agent said, "Um he didn't sign because um... it is not over! This is not the end of the story."

However it does seem like the photo might not be everything it seems:

Will Fekir sign?
