Marouane Fellaini is looking more and more likely to leave Old Trafford in the summer. However despite offering his services to them it doesn't look like the Belgian will be heading to Juventus in the summer.

There was a time that the thought of Marouane Fellaini leaving Old Trafford would have been met with cheers from the home end and jeers and chants of 'David Moyes football genius' from the other.

How time changes and now the idea of leaving United seems like a strange one with him becoming such an integral member of Jose Mourinho's squad but it's looking ever more likely that it'll happen.

Fellaini's contract ends in the summer and according to some reports he's already turned down an extension from the Red Devils and the former Everton player is now looking for a way out of the 13 times Premier League champions.

Besiktas are known admirers of the 29 year-old but he has his eyes set on a bigger club. According to Goal the players agent approached the Serie A champions but they turned down his advances.

The Old Lady reportedly turned down an approach for Fellaini, they can start officially negotiating with him in January, because they have their eyes on other targets to add to their midfield.

That suggests they haven't ruled out a future move for the former Evertonian and could return to make a bid for him if they can't get their hands on other targets in the transfer market.

Right now United have a decision to make whether or not they will sell the Belgian in January or risk losing him on a free when it comes the end of the season.

Goal seem to think that the Red Devils will turn down any move for Fellaini in the winter transfer market and believe they can still persuade him to stay past the current season.

Fellaini is far from the hated figure he was when he arrived at Old Trafford but perhaps he'd rather leave a hero then see himself become a villain again.
