Jack Wilshere To Pick Premier League Side After Rejecting 5 Teams

A good move.

In just over 24 hours Jack Wilshere has found himself a club after being told that he could leave the Emirates on loan. Unsurprisingly the Arsenal midfielder was not short of options and he's picked one.

Wilshere has fallen well down the pecking order at Arsenal with Granit Xhaka's signing earlier in the summer on top of Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla, Mohamed Elneny, and Francis Coquelin who had already got themselves ahead of the 24 year old.

According to The Sun the Gunners player isn't going to be going too far with Wilshere set to choose to join Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace ahead of five other clubs.

Sky reported that the midfielder held talks with Watford, Crystal Palace, AFC Bournemouth, Sporting Lisbon and Benfica before deciding to move to south London and join the Selhurst Park club after his conversation with Pardew went well.

Last season's FA Cup finalists are in need of more creativity, especially to supply new striker Christian Benteke, and with Yohan Cabaye pulling out of the France squad with injury this week a central midfielder was paramount.

The hope will be that Wilshere can stay fit, something he's struggled to do for Arsenal, and find himself back in the England squad with good form.
