Inter Want To Swap Radja Nainggolan For Nemanja Matic

The Italian's would pay £10 million plus the Belgian midfielder in exchange for Manchester United's central midfielder.

Inter are reportedly eyeing up another Manchester United player, this time in the form of Nemanja Matic, and are ready to offer £10 million plus Radja Nainggolan.

This summer Inter and new boss Antonio Conte have been attempting to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United and now the Serie A side are targeting another one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.

According to ESPN, Inter are targeting midfielder Nemanja Matic are prepared to part with their own midfielder Radja Nainggolan in order to sign the former Chelsea man.

The report says that the Serbian midfielder wants to talk to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about his future at Old Trafford after losing his place in the team at the back end of last season.

United have been linked with a number of midfielders with Bruno Fernandes and Sean Longstaff both being heavily rumoured to be joining this summer.

Should Solskjaer decide that the 30-year-old no longer has a future at United then there's a good chance that the move to Italy will interest him.

If he does move to Inter then he might finally join up with Antonio Conte. The former Chelsea manager took over at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2017, the same time Matic moved to the Blues' Premier League rivals.

Conte had wanted the former Benfica man to stay at the club and team him up with former Monaco midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko, who'd just signed, but the club decided to sell Matic.

The former Italy boss has only just taken charge at the San Siro from Luciano Spalletti, who was sacked despite qualifying for next season's Champions League, but he's already started trying to put together his squad.

The 49-year-old seems hell bent on signing Lukaku, who he missed out on signing when he was at Chelsea, and the Belgian forward sounds keen to move.

So far the problem with the transfer has been the price with the Premier League club hoping to get back as much of their money from the £75 million they spent in 2017 as possible.

Inter are likely going to have to sell Mauro Icardi in order to afford Lukaku and have reportedly also tried to use Ivan Perisic as part of the negotiations.
