Inter Milan are eager to reaffirm their position as one of Europe's elite. They now have Chinese backing and are expected to splash the cash in the summer to bring back the glory days.
Just like cross-town neighbours, AC.
Milan's new Chinese owners are also planning a summer squad overhaul. But ahead of the transfer window reopening, Inter have reportedly identified two players from the Premier League.

In particular, Spurs. Look away, Mauricio Pochettino.

According to the Italian version of Jim White, Gianluca Di Marzio, of Sky Italia, is claiming Inter will attempt to sign both Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweireld.

The English right-back is attracting plenty of interest following his heroics down the flanks with Manchester City's Pep Guardiola keen on snapping him up, too.
Needless to say, 'Poch' is reluctant to lose Walker, or any of his talents for that matter, who'll command a hefty fee should any club test Spurs' resolve.

Meanwhile, Alderweireld has forged a water-tight defensive pairing with compatriot Jan Vertonghen, and is alerting a host of clubs.
So, not only are Inter after Walker but also the Belgium centre-half. Di Marzio has also revealed that he has a surprising low release clause.
The 28-year-old has a £23.4 million release clause. What's more, he's reportedly told the club he won't be signing a new contract, per the Italian.
Interesting summer ahead.
