Edinson Cavani could leave PSG and join Atletico Madrid after he's reportedly agreed the move, as long as Diego Costa leaves the Wanda Metropolitano in the summer.

Is it really a transfer window without Diego Costa angling for a move? It certainly feels like the Spanish forward is either constantly on the move or about to be on the move.

After joining Chelsea it calmed down a little but then came January 2017. With the Blues top of the Premier League the former Atletico Madrid man had his head turned by a Chinese club and he wanted to follow the millions.

Eventually the Brazil born forward took his moody looks, sharp elbows and sharper finishing back to Madrid to play for Atletico again.

He only been back playing for Diego Simeone's team for 18 months, after the club's transfer ban delayed him from moving in the summer of 2017, and already China is back on the menu.

According to reports in Spain the oldest looking 30 year old on the planet is once again being targeted by the far east and he's fallen out with the manager and wants to leave.

Should he be allowed to then Mundo Deportivo report that PSG forward Edinson Cavani has agreed to move to the Spanish capital.

Cavani used to be in Zlatan Ibrahimovic's shadow in the French capital and once the Swede left Kylian Mbappe and Neymar stole the spotlight.

But despite often playing second fiddle to his more illustrious teammates it's Cavani who is the club's all time top scorer, who has scored 193 goals since joining from Napoli.

The Uruguayan has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal in the past but his style would certainly suit the football played by Simeone's teams at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Costa is currently serving an eight match ban after being sent off against Barcelona in April and the club opening a misconduct hearing against him led to him refusing to train.

A move to China would suit all the parties and then Atleti would just need to negotiate with PSG over the sale of Cavani.

There's set to be a huge overhaul at Atleti this summer and Cavani could lead a whole host of new names.

Will Costa finally find happiness in China?
