The worst kept secret in the Premier League is finally out! Antonio Conte has been sacked by Chelsea according to all reports and Cesc Fabregas was forced to apologise after accidentally suggesting he was really happy about it.

For the last few months, even before the domestic season ended, Antonio Conte's departure from Chelsea has pretty much been as sure a thing as football coming home, well apart from the fact that the Italian was always going to be leaving Stamford Bridge.

On several occasions a new manager for the Blues was on the verge of being named with Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri and Luis Enrique both heavily linked with the post.

Weirdly though the sacking never came, no matter how close Roman Abramovich's side seemed to be to naming a new man in charge to take over from Conte.

Finally it seems that Sarri will be the new man, after all he's already been replaced in Naples by Carlo Ancelotti, and Conte, according to reports is now out on his arse.

Keen eyed Twitter followers of Cesc Fabregas noticed that the Chelsea midfielder had liked a post of someone pretty happy to see the back of the former Juve boss:

And the former Arsenal midfielder was quick to make sure everyone knew that he'd only done it accidentally:

After all that Cesc decided to take to social media to thank Conte on all he did for the club, winning the Premier League and FA Cup in just two seasons in west London, and referenced the fact that he was initially out of the Italian's plans:

Once again Chelsea have a new manager, the 13th separate spell for a boss under Roman Abramovich, and it'll be interesting to see what Sarri can do with them.

Should Conte have been sacked?
