Barcelona Suffer Blow In The Transfer Window

The Camp Nou side have some very important business in the transfer window this summer but it looks like they've had a knock back.

The transfer window is just waiting for that one major move and then all the dominoes could fall. For Barcelona though they've had a bit of a knock back when it comes to one of their important dominoes.

Even though there's been plenty of transfer dealings so far this summer there is something of a completely different level brewing and we're just waiting for one move.

Be it Kylian Mbappe, Philippe Coutinho, Neymar or Alexis Sanchez there's very little doubt that we are waiting for one of these huge transfers before some even more big ones happen.

Once one of those big name players move for huge money it could kick off a series of unfortunate transfer events that could see the transfer record fee broken twice.

One of the clubs at the very heart of what we're waiting for is Barcelona, they could launch it all by buying or selling a player. But Ernesto Valverde's side have been dealt a blow.

Neymar is potentially the most likely of the big name moves to happen, who would Barca replace him with. Image: PA

The Catalans could be losing Neymar to PSG and are on the scout for a replacement but top of their list Paulo Dybala has told a press conference he hopes to stay at Juventus:

"The transfer market? I'm happy here.

"I'm fine with Juventus and over these days I'll be training as hard as I can to have a great season."

Barca are reportedly hoping to bring Liverpool's Coutinho into the Camp Nou in order to appease Neymar and stop the 25 year old heading to Paris.

Sanchez is also wanted by PSG whilst Manchester City are also desperate to sign the Arsenal forward but Pep Guardiola's team could drop their interest if there's a chance of signing Mbappe.

The young French forward could move to Real Madrid which might well trigger Gareth Bale's sale, potentially to Manchester United.

We are waiting for something, we just don't know what.
