Remember Vlad Chiriches? The Romanian defender who played for Spurs? Well, he scored from his OWN half on Saturday.
After rising to prominence in his native Romania with Steaua Bucharest, Spurs subsequently snapped him up in 2013. Though two drab seasons saw him depart England for Italy as he joined Napoli.
He's entering his third season with the Serie A outfit and ahead of the new campaign, Chiriches scored a goal from his own half during a pre-season friendly against Trento.

The 27-year-old received the ball in his half and his first touch set him up perfectly. He then pinged an incredible shot which left the keeper back pedaling and hapless.

WHAT A HIT!
Chiriches was one of the infamous signings bought following the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid. And like a majority of them, he flopped.

But he's finally fulfilling his potential in Naples. Napoli eventually thrashed the Serie D side 7-0.
Needless to say, it sent social media into overdrive including plenty of reaction from Spurs fans.
We're confident in saying that he won't score a better goal in his career.
