The action in the Under 21 European Championships has made for great viewing so far.

The tournament, held in Poland, has paid host to some of the finest young talents in world football, and has seen stunning goals produced by the likes of Spain's Marco Asensio, Portugal's Bruma and Czech Republic's Michal Luftner.

And another Czech star put his name in the mix this evening with a wonderful goal against Denmark.

Fresh from completing a £25 million move to Juventus, 21-year old striker Patrik Schick showed a glimpse of why Juventus paid a considerable fee for his services, with a tidy turn and powerful finish with his left foot to level matters against Denmark.

The goal sees Schick continue his rich goalscoring run for both club and country. Last season, he scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for Sampdoria as they finished 10th in Serie A.

And he was also the top scorer in qualifying for the Under 21 Euros, boasting a brilliant tally of 10 goals in nine games.

In his last seven games for his country at youth level, Schick has netted eight goals and registered four assists - the sort of numbers Juventus will be hoping he can replicate next season.

While Juventus have secured his services, he was subject to speculation from Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs, to name but a few.

And so it's a real coup for the Bianconeri to have snapped him up, and all those connected with the club will be hopeful he can ease the attacking burden on Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala next term.

Shick has already been showered with praise from legendary Czech and Juve player, Pavel Nedved.

"Patrik has had a wonderful season. Given the fact that he was born in 1996, he's managed to do a lot of great things. He's scored 11 league goals," Nedved told Denik via Metro.

"Schick has a great future in front of him. Right now he doesn't have the muscles, but you can just imagine him in two or three years."

"He reminds me of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, because he was like that when he came to Juve. He didn't have the muscles either."
