The Star Sixes tournament at the O2 Arena in London rolled on tonight, and Eric Abidal was the man everyone was talking about.
While his former Barcelona colleague Carles Puyol has been a talking point for his horror tackle on Phil Neville in the opening contest on night one between England and Spain, Abidal was running the show as France ran out 3-2 winners over Portugal to collect their second victory of campaign.

And the 37-year old capped off a fine individual display with a sensational piece of play that proved to be the winning goal.
Having been played through on goal following a flowing team move, the left-back rinsed Vitor Baia in the Portugal goal by pulling off a fake-shot that completely fooled the former Porto and Barcelona shotstopper and left him for dead.
He then took advantage by rounding the 47-year old and coolly slotting home.
