It took Germany just two minutes to open the scoring against Northern Ireland at Windsor Park, and they went in front courtesy of an absolute belter from Sebastian Rudy.
The Bayern Munich midfielder, who joined from Hoffenheim in the summer, made his 22th appearance for his country this evening and notched his first goal in stunning fashion, unleashing a thunderbolt which flew into the top right corner.

How about that?! A peach of a strike from the 27-year old. There really aren't many better ways to open your account for your country than a good old long-range net-buster. In qualifying, Northern Ireland's backline has been utterly brilliant and it really did take something special to breach their defence this evening.
