After seeing Basel star Dimitri Oberlin's ridiculous lung-busting box-to-box sprint last night, we really want to see him take on Usain Bolt in a 100m sprint - even if the Jamaican has recently retired from athletics.

The youngster, on loan at Basel from Red Bull Salzburg, was sensational in the 5-0 Group A drubbing of Benfica at St. Jakob-Park, scoring twice as the Swiss side recorded a massive, somewhat surprising first win of the Champions League campaign.

And his first goal in the 20th minute, was utterly ridiculous. Having cleared a corner in his own box and started a counter attack, Oberlin displayed blistering pace to maraud up the field, receive a perfectly weighted pass from his teammate, and supply the composed finish.

It's genuinely insane. Just look at the speed he generates in the following clip:

What a way to celebrate your 20th birthday. Oberlin is currently rated 78 for pace on FIFA 18 but something tells me EA Sports will have no choice but to upgrade it after seeing his incredible run from one end of the pitch to the other here.

Here's how Twitter reacted:

This kid is definitely worth keeping tabs on.
