Whenever the next big thing breaks through it reminds us just how old we've become and Timothy Weah joining his dad as a goalscorer for PSG just made a whole generation of football fans feel more like their own dads.
Yesterday Arsenal were managed by someone not Arsene Wenger in the Premier League for the first time in 22 years which was a stark reminder of my own age, not helped by the realisation that our own Josh Lawless wasn't even born the last time it happened.
Sport has that incredible ability to make us feel old as we see the people breaking through and just how much younger they are than us or remember something from a ridiculously long time ago happening and not quite realising how long ago it was.

George Weah is now the President of Liberia but I can remember a time in 1995 when he became the first African player to win the Ballon d'Or and when he scored a ridiculous goal for AC Milan, running from his own box to score.
So when his son Timothy Weah started playing for PSG this summer it made me feel extremely old and now he's scored his first goal for the Parisians, nearly 26 years to the day that his dad scored his first for the club:
And in case that is making you feel old, like it is with me, then have some sympathy for PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

The 40 year old joined the Ligue 1 champions in the summer and played his first Ligue 1 game on Sunday, along with his young teammate, and the Italian made his professional debut against Weah senior in 1995.
I wish all the luck in the world to the younger Weah but really does he have to be so young about it!
