WATCH: The Goal That Blows Olivier Giroud And Henrikh Mkhitaryan's Goals Out Of Water

We've been treated to a number of stunning strikes recently.

Both Henrikh Mhkhitaryan and Olivier Giroud netted scorpion kick goals in recent weeks and had fans in awe of the mastery they had just produced.

The goals happened in the same week so it's no surprise that there was massive debate at which goal was better.

But let's remember the time that Matty Burrows, playing for Glentoran in Northern Ireland, scored an audacious twisting backheel volley into the top corner.

Burrows was nominated for the 2010 FIFA Puskas Award for his incredible piece of play, but Turkey midfielder Hamit Altintop's dipping volley scooped the gong.

I reckon it's easily better than what Mkhitaryan and Giroud conjured up and that is saying something.
