Philippe Coutinho certainly made the most of his first ever start as Liverpool captain, last night, by helping himself to first hat-trick for the Reds during their 7-0 thumping of Spartak Moscow at Anfield.

But more impressive than any of the Brazilian magician's three goals last night was the piece of skill he produced that sent one tortured Spartak defender for a hotdog and then for some chips as the poor bastard came back for more punishment.

Just look at that. The poor bloke runs about half a mile in each direction and Coutinho's barely had to put any effort into making him do it.

The former Internazionale youngster's performance was hailed by fans and pundits alike, last night, with Liverpool supporters no doubt even more desperate to see the 25-year-old remain at Anfield with Barcelona's interest growing seemingly by the minute as we approach the opening of the January transfer window.

But where will Coutinho be playing his football, next season? Liverpool or Barcelona?
