To many Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer of all time. One fan has created the ultimate compilation of the Barcelona forward and titled it 'The GOAT'- The 'Official' Movie.'

Listing Lionel Messi's achievements almost seems futile at this point. The Barcelona forward has won almost everything in his career already and broken a ridiculous amount of records.

The 32-year-old isn't short of a fanboy or two, and it's no surprise, and one fan, MagicalMessi, has created the ultimate compilation on YouTube, 20 minutes of incredible skills and goals:

Messi has won five Ballon d'Ors so far in his career and, despite not winning the Champions League or Copa America this year, some still believe he should add a sixth title to his trophy cabinet.

Despite not winning either major trophy he would have been after this year the Barcelona number 10 still managed to bag a sixth European Golden Shoe award, for the top scorer in the continent, taking him two clear of Cristiano Ronaldo's four, the second most wins.

The biggest disappointment in the Argentina forward's career is the lack of any silverware with his fellow countrymen for the national team.

In 2014, 2015 and 2016 the team reached the finals of the World Cup and two Copa Americas but lost in extra time and twice on penalties, respectively.

2018 saw them fall at the first knockout hurdle, after they struggled to get out of the group stage, losing to France, who would go on to win the tournament.

This summer they had another chance to win the Copa America but once again struggled in the group stage and eventually lost to Brazil, losing 2-0 in the semi-final.

Messi was then sent off in the third place play-off against Chile after an altercation with Gary Medel, although he didn't appear to do anything wrong.

On Friday Messi will have learnt of his newest club teammate with Antoine Griezmann confirmed as Barcelona's latest signing.

The Catalan giants were expected to sign him last season but he chose to stay at Atletico Madrid for one more year but earlier this summer announced it was now time for him to leave the Spanish capital.

Will Griezmann help the GOAT win the Champions League once more?
