Manchester United are once again amongst Europe's elite after qualifying into the Champions League, and Paul Pogba has named the one thing he missed most about the coveted European competition.

Pogba returned to Old Trafford last summer without Champions League football, though despite not finishing in the top four, United gained a spot after winning the Europa League, last season.

After featuring regularly in the Champions League for Juventus, Pogba now experiences the competition with his new side and, needless to say, he can't wait.

But it wasn't plying against the best that he missed. Of course, and naturally, he missed the prestigious Champions League anthem which blares out when the teams line-up.

"You don't even know. I've missed the music. I was here looking at my friends at Juventus and listening to the music and I'm like... [shakes head]," he told Copa 90 via Mirror.

"We are back at it. We are back. It feels great," he added.

Pogba was also joined by Jesse Lingard, and just like the Frenchman, he's relishing the opportunity to play in the competition.

Lingard played in the Champions League in 2015 under Louis van Gaal's reign, and is hopeful the squad can concentrate on lifting another major European trophy this season.

"I experienced it before a couple of seasons ago and we've already got that feeling, so hopefully we can crack on and concentrate on it."

"It's one of the best competitions in the world so it's nice to be part of it," Lingard added.

The Champions League music will return to Old Trafford with Pogba and Lingard rearing to go.
